Elleke Maliepaard is a senior impact manager at the German Development Finance Institution DEG - Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft, a subsidiary of KfW Banking Group. She has started her career at DEG in 2010 as a trainee, after which she joined the department responsible for strategy and development policy. Elleke has a vast experience in the management and measurement of impact. She developed and manages the Development Effectiveness Rating, DEG’s multi-dimensional index-based impact rating tool. She co-lead the development of DEG’s current Impact and Climate Strategy. Elleke holds an M.A. in Development Management from the Institute of Development Research and Development Policy - Ruhr University Bochum.
